Mark Beelek went to Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska seeking a degree in computer science. Before joining Globe Life Family Heritage Division (FHD), he worked as a mortgage loan officer and clinical research specialist. In 2008, Mark pursued the opportunity of a career with FHD. "I had a great career as a sales professional. However, I realized I was limited in my impact. In leading a team of people, we impact far more people than I could all by myself. It is also impactful for our agents, helping them make a difference in the lives of others while they get to live the life of their dreams, and achieve their goals while living by their priorities and values, " Mark says. Joining FHD enticed Mark because of the opportunity's potential. "I bought a plan from a friend who told me I would be good at this. I resisted for two years, and eventually, when the mortgage business was failing, I decided to give this a shot, " he says.
